Gods and Goddesses

Here is a picture of Lord Vishnu with his other disciples surrounding him portraying support and strength for all gods on this image. This topic is something that is similar to me as I do fall under the Hindu religion and believe in these gods and goddesses. Although I am not completely sure on every single detail about the religion, I learn as I go and know enough to get me through temple. The introduction was not much to get the audience involved and intrigued as it was short.

Lives of Lakshmi

 Here is a picture of the goddess, Lakshmi who is known for being the goddess of wealth, prosperity and purity. Lord Vishnu married the goddess Lakshmi who is one of the most popular goddesses in the Hindu mythology and religion. Lakshmi is symbolized by wearing a sari that is embroidered with gold patterns and borders which symbolize the meaning of wealth and fortune. She is represented with her husband Vishnu who is known for maintaining human life filled with justice and peace. She is usually sitting on a lotus along with Vishnu.

The Story of Ravana

Here is Ravana, the greatest rakshasa king of all time. He is the son of Kaikesi and was not able to be beat. He excelled in sports, school as well as combat. In the story of Ramayana, he plays the role of the enemy of Ramayana and takes place of the antagonist. Ramayana, Rama and Ravana clashed since Rama took off Ravana's granddaughter's nose. Ravana has been working towards getting revenge in any way possible as well as kidnapping the love of Rama's life, his wife, Sita.

Week 3 Story: Derek or Finn

          In tonight’s episode of Grey’s Anatomy, Meredith has to choose between Derek and Finn. Two really good candidates for two completely different reasons. She is having a hard time doing so because both men are so great and have different things to offer. The way she met both of them are super unorthodox but a great way to ideally meet your future soulmate(s). Meredith Grey met Derek one night at a bar and ended up kicking him out of her house the morning after due to having a little too much to drink the night before.            They found out that Meredith serves as an intern under Derek who is a neurosurgeon at Grey’s hospital which is named after Meredith’s widely known and famous mother who is now sick with Alzheimer’s.
